Ironman Germany 2008: The last bottle

Last picture of my first series. On June 6th Frankfurt saw the german Ironman race. As the cycling course was not far from my home I went out to cheer with the crowd...

I like how we can appreciate the protagonism of the cyclist even it he's blurry. The first plan is very clean and sharp, but it frames the course of our friend. I suppose it was your intention.

A very nice counter to yesterday's image. It speaks to the nature and intent of Ironman competitions: one's greatest competition lies within.

Nice. I like how you've focused on the detail in the foreground..where allowing the background subject to recede in the blurr.

Genial !!! Super Bildaufbau. Besonders gut gefällt mir wie Du die Trinkflasche plaziert hast. Man hat den Eindruck der Radfahrer sucht sie.

@Harald: Coole Interpratation, Harald! Plaziert habe ich die Flasche im übrigen nur bildlich. Ein freundlicher Streckenposten hatte sie tatsächlich so schön für mich da abgelegt!

I like how this has a story to it. The water bottle is a great touch, because it brings our attention to all the effort of the match. Very nicely done.
