Silver alien: Fork & SpoonPosted by Mirko Herzner (Mühlheim am Main, Germany) on 29 July 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. One of those rainy sundays in my kitchen... A strange sound and there it was: a metalic alien! Before running for my life I managed to shoot this picture... Tomorrow's picture will feature Budapest's catacombs. Stay tuned. Besuchen Sie meine neue Webseite Hochzeitsfotografie | Mirko Herzner. Hier finden Sie mein Hochzeitsfotografie-Portfolio. Ich stehe in der Region Rhein-Main sowie in Chemnitz und Umgebung für Ihren großen Tag zur Verfügung.

GJC from Kyoto, JapanReally cool! For a second I couldn't quite piece it together, but then -- aha! Very clever and I think the red really makes it all the more effective. Nice work. 29 Jul 2008 5:15am @GJC: Thanks for your nice comment, GJC! Sharon from Brooklyn, United StatesNice take on the sometimes "overdone" fork shot! I love it. Great choice of red as well. 29 Jul 2008 5:54am @Sharon: Thanks for your comment, Sharon. So you think this kind of shot is 'overdone'? Actually I only saw it once before... Happy you like it anyway ;-) Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesA colossal idea! Brilliant! Beautifully seen and produced, Mirko. The lighting, background and overall composition is so well done, too. 29 Jul 2008 1:52pm @Andrew Gould: Thanks again, Andrew! I am quite content with this picture, too. I have no studio equipment at all so everything was very much improvisational... Ana Lúcia from Leiria, PortugalVery creative. I have to admit that I saw a similar photo somewhere and wanted to have my own version of it. Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceA good idea, different from others... I like the red background and this beautiful reflection, but I agree with Isao for the over exposure at the top right ( probably the flash not diffused... but it's just a small detail) 2 Aug 2008 10:01pm @Francesc B.: Thanks a lot for your visit and the link.
