Last Portrait: Mr. Brown

Dear friends and visitors of this blog. This is a different post today. Last night my beloved Border Collie Browni died in the age of almost 14 years.
I will take a break from blogging. I don't know how long, but at least for 14 days to keep his last portrait on this page for a while.
Life has to go on, but it won't be the same again. He was the best friend... and brave until his very last minute.

My heart goes out to you. As a lifelong animal lover and owner, I know how hard it is when we say goodbye to our little furry friends who have become so much a part of our lives, as to become human to us.
I hate the final farewell, the pain of loss, the emptiness of the home. I look to the fact that they were deeply loved, and had a great life with us, and cherish the memories they gave us in so short but perfect a life

Es ist sehr schwer fuer uns alle, ein so gutes Familienmitglied zu verlieren.Ich weiss,dass Ihr ihn sehr geliebt habt,unseren Browni-Mann. Er hat eine sehr schoene Zeit mit Euch verbringen duerfen und uns allen viele glueckliche Jahre beschert.Auf diesem Wege vielen Dank fuer alles. Es tut immer weh wenn jemand geliebtes geht. Trauer muss bewältigt und verarbeitet werden ... lass Dir Zeit. Doch irgendwann rufen Erinnerungen keine übergroße Traurigkeit mehr hervor sondern die Guten Dinge bleiben zurück. Alles Gute Mirko ...

Herje... der Brownie. Auch wenns jetzt noch schwer ist: Irgendwann erinnert ihr euch mit Freude an die tolle Zeit mit ihm zurück, mit dem definitiv coolsten Hund den ich jemals kennenlernen durfte (und vermutlich auch werde)!

Mirko, Es tut mir so leid, um zu sehen, hier über die Weitergabe von Browni. Alle unsere Tiere hier zu Hause sind ein großer Teil der Familie. Ich weiß, dass die Traurigkeit der Verlust eines Haustieres, und Sie haben Recht, auch wenn die Zeit vergeht, es ist nie dasselbe ohne sie. Sie alle sind so einzigartig in ihrer eigenen Art und Weise. Nochmals, ich bin ja so leid zu hören, der die Weitergabe Browni.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, Mirko, and understand how you feel. When I was much younger, I had a beautiful Border Collie Kelpie cross, which was a faithful companion, as these dogs can be. I was also greatly saddened when he died. This is a beautiful portrait.

Her life is on borrowed time and it is not going to delay joining your dog in paradise... courage in this difficult trial... we love them too much...

I understand your pain, these animals which are a part of our life. When they disappear, I lived her with my cat of 15 years the day after noel in 2007, we say ourselves it is crazy this place that they occupied in our heart. With regret.

I still remember the Day he was born as it was yesterday. I am very happy that I had a chance to see him in April last Year for the last time. It is always hard to loose someone so attached and loved by Family and Friends. But I am sure that he had grat "Doggy life" with all of us. I will never forget him.

oh Mirko -- i am sooo sorrry!!! :( i know how much you loved mr brown!! you mentioned him quite often and your pictures of him were always so touching!!! so sorry to miss this post too -- 2009 has kept me quite busy, all sorts of resolutions!! anyways, my condolences, and all relevant sadness aside, i hope this year is one of happiness and prosperity for you and yours!!! all the best mate!!
